Information from the Nurse
What are the symptoms of the flu?
Symptoms of the flu can include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, fatigue and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea. Some people with the flu will not have a fever.

Keep your child home from school for at least 24 hours after their fever is gone without the use of a fever-reducing medicine. A fever is defined as 100°F (37.8°C) or higher.
What are some of the other ways I can protect my child against the flu?
In addition to getting vaccinated, take everyday steps that can help prevent the spread of germs.

Submit Your Photos for the Yearbook
The CMS yearbook staff is looking for photos of your summer activities! We want to include your summer pictures in the yearbook. Did you go on a family vacation? Take a trip with your youth group or friends? Do you have photos from a birthday party, family reunion, or July 4th celebration? If you played a sport, we want pictures of your team and action shots of you playing or practicing. We are also seeking photos of Cope students hanging out with their friends over the summer--at the pool, at the Boardwalk, and in your neighborhood--and at camps, including church camps, sports camps, and school camps.
Click on the ReplayIt link above to create an account at the ReplayIt website, or download the ReplayIt app on your smartphone. After setting up an account, you can upload photos directly to our yearbook staff. You will also be helping to build a timeline of our year at Cope.
